Pylons Redux

This shot bothered me after I took it the first time (as shots often do). I felt like something was off and it could have been better. I had to wait for the right conditions (high clouds, clear) and when they presented themselves, it was bitterly cold with a high wind. I was actually expecting the shot to show camera movement due to the wind. But when I developed the roll, I liked what came out.

This often happens- I will come across a scene with lovely composition and I feel I have to shoot it several times in several conditions before I get it right. It will bother me until I get what I consider to be "right", which I did here. It's subjective, of course, and one might think this is a lousy shot. But hey- screw them!
