The Long Color: Vertical by ~padraig13

Another long exposure in color. This one works better, I think. The clouds did exactly what i wanted them to.

fuji velvia 100, ND 400, polarizer, f-22, 64 sec.

wow this is really amazing, id love this photo somewhere in my house, ive just bought a polarizer, an adjustable one, dont really understand it tho. any help.

the polarizer works by intensifying blue skies and increasing color contrast and also reducing glare and eliminating reflection off of glass and water by reducing stray "noise" from white light.

to use it- if you have an SLR- just throw it on your lens and then rotate it until you get the desired effect. ideally, go outside on a sunny day, look through your camera and then turn the polarizer until the sky sort of 'pops' and is the blue-ist and the clouds will be the whitest. extremely useful filter.
