The children of a no-name village in Botswana. It's bizarre how they have become novelty to tourists. I'm no different- I started snapping away.

I really like the picture, it's not the typical image but it still transmits me the hardness of the life there as well as how pacefuly they seem to accept it and go on...

i tend to agree. there is a calm about them that we in the west don't seem to have. they seem much happier than we do. food for thought.

I'm jealous of you for being able to go to all those places, I wish I had the time to go there. Africa is a continent I've always wanted to visit, I think we can learn a lot from there.

yeah, it's a luxury for sure. i have lots of time off so i'm extremely lucky in that regard. there is lots to be learned, good and bad, from africa. it's a beautiful and heartbreaking place.
